The Council may elect as a Graduate Member at and during the pleasure of the Council any person who:-

1. Has attained the age of twenty-one years.
2. Is at the time of one’s application engaged in some branches of the professional practice in Uganda.
3. Has obtained graduate or equivalent membership of another professional body approved by the Council.
4. Has obtained a basic degree in one of the branches of surveying profession as approved by Council.

Graduate member shall not be entitled to use any suffix referring to Membership of the Institution.

Graduate Members shall have the right to attend any General Meeting of the Institution and may vote at such meetings but are not eligible for election to Council or to any office of the Institution.
